Motorbase Performance has confirmed that Matt Allison, a champion in GT racing last year, will be Gareth Howell’s team-mate in its two-car Dunlop MSA British Touring Car squad in 2007.
Allison, from Norwich, won last year’s GTC title and before that the 2005 Renault Clio winter series. His signing with Motorbase marks his big BTCC break.
