HiQ asks fans to vote for Champagne Moments

British Touring Car Championship fans now have a chance to present their star driver from each race weekend with a magnum of champagne thanks to a sparkling new initiative by title sponsor HiQ.

Enthusiasts can visit HiQ’s official website www.hiqonline.co.uk and vote who they think was the top performer of each meeting.

Whether it’s a first place finish, an outstanding performance or just one particular overtaking manoeuvre that caught the eye, HiQ wants the public to vote for their favorite driver from the latest rounds.

Voting for the most recent rounds at Croft is now open via the HiQonline.co.uk website.

And one lucky fan who logs his or her details onto the website will be picked at random and win complimentary tickets to the next meeting (in this case Snetterton on 13 July) where they will present the winning driver with HiQ’s Champagne Moment award - a magnum of bubbly.

HiQ’s BTCC spokesman Neil Burrows said: “We want our sponsorship to leave a positive impression on the people that matter at BTCC race meetings – the fans.

“This is why we have decided to launch our interactive HiQ Champagne Moment idea, and we really hope it will capture the imagination.

“There are still plenty of rounds remaining, so there are lots of opportunities for fans to get involved.”

Fans have up until noon on Tuesday 8 July to register their votes from the Croft action. The winning fan will be contacted by a HiQ representative.
