SEAT continued their domination of testing on the second day at Snetterton, with Jason Plato and Darren Turner finishing first and second in every session.
Plato broke the lap record with a time of 1:11.730 to go almost seven tenths faster than the nearest non-SEAT runner of Colin Turkington in the afternoon session on the second day.
Vauxhall elected not to take part in the second day of the test, as did Team Halfords. Teams who missed the first day but ran on the second day were Arkas Racing, TH Motorsport and In-Tune Racing, who were sporting a new livery for the Honda Civic of Michael Doyle.
