BTC Racing return for Oulton Park

BTC Racing return to the BTCC this weekend with drivers Chris Stockton and Gareth Howell after having missed the previous meeting at Snetterton.

The team have made little announcement about their return and have as yet specified no reason for having missed the Snetterton Rounds.

Regular second driver Stuart Oliver has been replaced for the remainder of the season by Gareth Howell. Howell, who raced in the BTCC in half of 2007, has plenty of experience with the SEAT Toledo and is a former race winner with Team Halfords in 2005 and 2006.

This morning’s first free practice session saw Stockton and Howell set 18th and 19th fastest times respectively, two seconds off the pace of Jason Plato.
