Knockhill Circuit

   Previous Winners  --  Official Website

Knockhill Circuit, located 800 feet above sea level, is Scotland's only permanent motor racing circuit. Located in Fife, Scotland, the 1.3 mile circuit has been host to many BTCC races since its creation in the 1970's by Tom Kinnaird. At the time there were no permanent circuits in Scotland, so by linking a narrow service road to a disused railway line the circuit layout was born. Proving to be a narrow and very twisty lap, with many turns and drops the circuit is especially challenging to the drivers and provides an exciting spectacle.

Driver's View

Jason Plato - "I enjoy racing at Knockhill because it's such a great circuit. It's a relatively short track, the racing is always very close and exciting and it's one of the best circuits in the country to spectate at."

Luke Hines - "Knockhill is one of my favourite racing circuits because it's like a big kart track. From a driver's point of view it's great because the racing is always very close, and for the spectators it's one of the best places to watch motor racing from in the UK. My father's raced there and I've raced there quite a few times - even as far back as when I drove in Formula Ford. I've always gone quite well at Knockhill and scored some good results."
