Gordon Shedden, born 15 February 1979 in Scotland, current races for Team Halfords (aka Team Dynamics) in the BTCC after showing impressive form in pre-season testing. He got the drive for 2006 despite not having completed a great deal of testing - the deal only being finalised in the weeks leading up to the start of the season. His results in the 2006 season were enough to persuade the team to retain him for the 2007 BTCC. Shedden had a fleeting encounter with the BTCC back in 2001 when, with GR Motorsport, he raced a Production-class Ford focus at Knockhill. Up until his drive for Team Halfords in 2006, this was his only race in the BTCC. | |||
