For 2009...

There are some major changes at Team Dynamics this year as the team race without Halfords sponsorship for the first time since 2003.

Also gone is Tom Chilton, who has been replaced by David Pinkney who is set to race a black and pink version of the car. Gordon Shedden remains with the team as he enters his fourth season in the BTCC.

Despite losing the major backing from Halfords the team has been busy testing throughout the off season, with David Pinkney testing the car at Donington Park, Snetterton and Thruxton before the official announcement that he would be driving for the team. Pinkney claims that the deal was even done as early as Summer 2008 after he had been keen to get back on the grid for 2009 following a year on the sidelines.

However Gordon Shedden will be one to watch in 2009 as he has had two seasons of experience with the Civic. The car has shown good pace in testing, and the Scot is keen to mount a title challenge, believing that 2009 could be his year.

2009 marks Team Dynamics fifteenth year of competing in the BTCC and their sixth year racing Honda models. With the new manufacturer/constructor championship created for '09, the team will be up against the works Vauxhall team and the newly formed Team Aon for the honour of constructors champion.
